What do you try to stay away from when you are negotiating with another party? What is really important to you when you negotiate?

In the panel discussion in this SEORCHERS blog post, there is some good thinking by the panelists. For me and on my part, I like to create win-win situations for both parties (myself and the other party). When you have a win-win, both parties walk away from the table feeling valued. If the negotiation is completely one-sided, benefitting only one party, I feel there is no way this relationship can be a positive one. My most successful relationships are the ones that exude positivity from both me and the other party. We want success for each other and it all starts with the initial negotiation.

Here is the blog post…enjoy!
